Market leaders Kinder of the Ferrero Group provide educational games for the youth market that children enjoy playing and learn valuable lessons from in the process. We have a long work history with the confectioners and it’s always rewarding to work with the guys on projects that engage and help educate children!

Brief

The Magic Kinder app is an online platform created to give children and their parents a free, safe ‘edutainment’ environment. Games and activities in the Magic Kinder app help create a place where children and their parents can play and build together. Kinder briefed us; they wanted an engaging game that would appeal to youngsters through the power of play.

Results

We created Catch the Bone, a HTML5 mobile game translated into 11 languages that catered for their huge international youth market. Users, as Kinderino the Kinder egg, had three tries to throw a dog bone as far as possible whilst avoiding obstacles, in order to win stars. We added an unlockable dog character select to incentivise playing and different family members could compete on a single device due to the API’s incorporated from the Magic Kinder app, a nice tool for encouraging families to play together!
