Kinder of the Ferrero Group and Koko have a long, collaborative history. We work with the confectionery market leaders regularly, providing the youth target market with enjoyable, educational games that encourage children to learn and engage in a fun way.
Brief
For this brief, Kinder wanted a game that would engage youngsters and support the new art surprises toys available to purchase. The game needed to be built in HTML5, be mobile compatible and FUN, aimed at boys and girls aged between three and eight years of age.
Results
Our experience and knowledge of youth marketing was invaluable to this project. We created the 'connect five' brain teaser game featuring hand illustrated keyring paint tools, perfect for the target audience. The game helped children think strategically as in order to win they had to beat their opponent by populating the most rows of five on the game board. We incorporated AI to emulate play against the computer as well as playing against their friends by the use of API functionality. A Splash of Colours was really well received and a great engagement tool.
