At Christmas it’s important to spread some festive cheer! And that’s exactly what the international private equity firm Livingbridge did. For a company specialising in investing, they understood that investing in a game would be a great engagement tool to encourage website traffic.
Brief
The team’s target was to increase lead gen and support the homeless charity Crisis. (Aww, not all heroes wear capes, or drive sleighs!). Livingbridge wanted a engaging mobile game that would hook their audience but was still simple to understand and play. Oh, and it had to be Christmass’y. So we set about finding the perfect game - and that’s how Reindeer Rush was born!
Results
Reindeer Rush was the perfect ‘easy to play, hard to master’ game implementing a side scroller engine. The player controlled the reindeer flying Santa in his sleigh through the night sky, avoiding obstacles strategically placed in the way. Your points reflected the distance you travelled and you submitted your score to enter the prize draw to win a Fortnum and Mason hamper. We added social media sharing functionality to help spread the word. And lest we forget, for every play of Reindeer Rush, Livingbridge donated £2 to the Crisis charity. Merry Christmas everyone!
