With many of the team being huge Pokémon fans it was a dream come true when we heard about this incredible project and couldn’t wait to get stuck in. As one of the world's most beloved brands and the obvious gaming connection, it was fantastic to join forces on this project - to say we were excited is an understatement!
The Pokémon Company International were looking to create a Winter themed campaign aimed at young people aged between 7 and 12 that would provide exciting new content and games to play throughout the festive season completely free of charge. With casual gaming at the heart of the project and a wealth of Pokémon lore to draw inspiration from, the challenge was set and we got to work on creating something truly unique and innovative!
The result is Pokémon: Kids Winter Fest - a web app crammed full of Winter-themed fun to keep budding Pokémon fans engaged throughout the festive season. There were five fantastic games to master, 900 badges to collect throughout the campaign and a scene creator as well as missions, achievements, special events and daily team races too! With thousands of young Pokémon fans joining in from all across the globe, Pokémon: Kids Winter Fest was a phenomenal experience for us creating it and those who played along!
