We have a long standing relationship with the internationally renowned Kinder of the Ferrero Group and it's always a pleasure to work with the confectionary giants. They encourage children to learn and engage through fun, educational games that inspire and bring joy to the everyday.
Brief
The Magic Kinder app is an online platform created to give children and their parents of the brand a free, safe 'edutainment' service. Games and activities in the app help create a place where children can play and build together. For this brief, Kinder wanted a game for and culturally relevant to the Arabian market that depicted the themes and imagery of Dubai and surrounding areas. It needed to engage youngsters and support the release of a new range of surprise toys available to purchase. The game needed to be built in HTML5, be mobile compatible and fun.
Results
We used our expertise in youth marketing to create an Arabian themed game, inspired by the 'crossy road' mechanism, called The Golden Egg Hunt that featured relevant characters like the Sultan and the princess. Users had to time their movements, stay on land and locate the golden egg, avoiding obstacles put in their path! Available in multiple languages, the game was perfect for the target audience and received rave reviews!
