World famous animators Aardman Animations and Woolmark, leading Australian wool clothing manufacturers, joined forces for an important project to coincide with the launch of the latest Shaun the Sheep film ‘A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon’. The teams wanted to showcase the amazing natural benefits of wool and needed a selection of games to be used as promotional tools.
The teams at Woolmark and Aardman Animations were looking to set up an educational microsite platform for kids to find out more about wool production and the materials application throughout the world. It would feature activities, a short film and a handful of branded HTML5 games (that’s us!). We were really excited to work with the guys on the creation and development of the games and we knew a top priority was making them fun for the target audience!
Three Shaun the Sheep branded games were born! Desktop and mobile friendly, users could choose between three games: Puzzle Pics, Shear the Sheep and Super Spacesuit. The games are simple to navigate through and play (perfect for little people with little fingers!). On offer was a puzzle slider, a game where you click to shave as many of the flock against a diminishing timer, and the third sees you dress the character from a range of spacesuit options. And the colours really pop, don’t you think?
